I have had a parcel sent from Morocco last month 15th November and we had been given the wrong tracking number. The parcel was sent to New Zealand with Amana but somehow the address was damaged in transit.

Last week we found out the correct tracking number from the post place we sent it from in Rabat. In New Zealand it has been sitting with DHL for 3 weeks and the address and contact persons phone number could not be made out. due to damage I believe during transit.

DHL said the address is very unclear and all they could see was the name of the receiver “Sam”. Sam is Our lawyer, he contacted DHL last week and they said that it was being processed and would be sent out to him.

But we found out today that DHL is sending it back to Morocco????. I have been told by DHL that I must contact Amana to have it redirected. DHL are holding onto the parcel for a few more days. Can you please contact DHL directly and have the parcel redirected to the original address that was very clear on the parcel when it left, I have a photo of this… This parcel cannot leave New Zealand the contents are of the upmost importance with documents that must be received by our lawyer asap.

Tracking number is 6658282293. Package is in Auckland DHL ready to be shipped back to sender.

Please can you make this adjustment with DHL to have the parcel redirected to the address above. They told us this is the only way we can do this before it is shipped back to Morocco to me and this cannot happen.

The woman working at Amana International was incredibly unwelcoming and rude. Wouldn’t even let me DROP OFF a prepaid package in the drop box because I had my dog with me.

Worst manager ever at Amana International… never apologizes once, even though he messed up our Saturday morning, pretended that he didn’t even know the phone number for his own branch. Don’t come here for passport application… even if you called them in advance to make sure they are open, no they are not.

This is the first move that I had to coordinate. We were moving from Long Beach to Orange and needed to do so the day after Christmas. I got 2 quotes, one from Amana International and another from their competitor. My sales person was Larry Buckle. He was my first appointment, so I didn’t know what to expect. He arrived, opened up his IPAD and we started walking through my place. He quickly punched in information as we walked through and gave me quick tips along the way to help save money/time. The move address was punched into this IPAD and he was able to confirm on the spot the distance required to travel. He was very thorough in his estimate and because he was using an IPAD, the quote was generated as soon as we were done. The quote was a Not to Exceed quote, so it would be the max I would have to pay and if they finished in less time, then I would get reimbursed. Also, Larry shared that Amana International is big on recycling, so I can come by the warehouse and pick up used boxes and tape for free! This really helped save us money.
I’ve only discovered Larry’s efficiency after I met with the competitor. I expected the same level of technology used for the estimate, instead she walked around with a pen and a form making notes. Since she didn’t have an instant map in hand, she overestimated the distance between the 2 addresses. The quote was also a Not to Exceed, however, it was $200 over what Amana International quoted me and they did not have the added benefit of free moving boxes.
The move went smoothly and started/ended as planned. We were contracted for 2 guys but they crew came in with 2 extra men. They were very careful with my furniture and finished without damaging our walls. We were very satisfied with the work and would use Amana International again.
