Definitely, VERY EXPENSIVE Courier. Transportation cost 69% of what the merchandise cost.
Katherin at Avianca Express was affable and provided excellent customer service. Her attention to detail was appreciated. If you want to ship express through DHL, you cannot go wrong with Katherin behind the counter.
Update: Why would I leave my real name? To be harassed? When your own employees state Avianca Express is a rip off and they could have moved me at a cheaper rate on the side, then take over 8 hours to move me. They absolutely took advantage of me!
It should NOT have cost $1500.00 to move 50 boxes and one bedroom set and 1.5 couch. I want this to be a FLAG for someone like me in the future.
Not sure how you can call yourself a BUDGET mover. I had 50 boxes, 1.5 couches and a bedroom set. 8 Hours later, $1,500.00 and on top of that was asked for a tip. SHOCKED! Be aware that $160.00 is only for two humans and the truck. You get charged extra for GAS, any wrapping and I mean Blanket, Tape and plastic. THEY SAY IT’S THE LAW TO USE THEM and get charged. You will also be paying this company while the delivery people organize their trucks and fold blankets that they used. I now realize why this site has so many 5 Star reviews, you are asked to provide 5 STAR review as the drivers will get additional $. SHAME on you for calling yourself a budget mover. There is nothing BUDGET about your company.
What a bunch of Jack holes. After dealing with Avianca Express trying to send a simple letter, and now I understand what the phrase going postal means. They should just close down this location or at least get a brand new staff.
Avianca Express staff is very rude. The bald guy and an elder lady. They should honestly be working somewhere else. Those people do not know how to communicate. Every question you ask they take it as a threat. Very very rude. Only reason I go there is because it’s close. Other than that, I would not go there – very bad customer service. Would not recommend to anyone to stop by here. I’m surprised they are still working there all these years.
