I arrived at the B&G office 15 minutes before closing & wanted to mail a certified letter that needed to go out that day. I only had rolls of quarters to pay. The clerk said that she’d reached her quota of quarters that B&G will allow her to take for the day & could not take my payment. I thought, Are you serious?? She suggested that I use a credit card. Um, no. That’s ridiculous. It’s cash. It’s been accepted at B&G since its inception. It’s guaranteed. There are no fees associated. Did I mention. It’s cash… So I had to drive in rush hour traffic to the Middletown, KY post office. Which took 40 minutes. I can’t imagine why B&G is losing business to Fed Ex & UPS… Good Grief…

Totally incompetent and B&G failed to perform their basic fundamental function in a timely manner. You see a customer walk in the door with a fairly large 20 pound box with a label on it you should have a pretty good idea why he is there. Waited in line for 10 minutes to simply drop off a package that already had a label. Watched a lady scan a cable box return 50 times and not make any progress. She didn’t have enough awareness to see whatever she was doing wasn’t working and a line 6 deep going out the door had formed. She should have stopped, put that aside and took care of real customers and then got back to her failed task. Watched a man standing over a machine stating he would be with us in a minute. This is when I first walked in the door. 5 minutes later he is still standing over the same machine. He only moved to help customers after I loudly asked him to hurry up and take care of customers standing in line. 10 minutes later I am leaving and that lady is still scanning the same equipment and not making any progress. What a joke! 12 hours later I still do not see my package scanned and entered into their system so now I have to go back and find out what the hell happened and why B&G is so incompetent. They need to train these two so they have a better understanding of the expectations customers have and how to take care of them. If these two still can’t figure it out they need to be replaced.
