Awful. Most of the 5-star reviews on Trustpilot etc. are probably paid-for false reviews and customers who haven’t come across a major issue (like a lost parcel) with MailAmericas yet.
Posted an item on 4th Sept on a 5-10 day service. Tracking stopped updating on 13th September so contacted customer service. Always told they will look into it and I’ll receive a follow up email. NEVER had a follow up email from any of the issues I’ve ever spoken to customer service about, you always have to chase them again in a few days, only to be told the same thing each time – they’ll look into it and email you.
Eventually the tracking for this parcel started updating again on 15th October, but by this point the delivery had taken over a month so the customer had gone through eBay to get a refund, losing us a sale.
Requested the parcel to be returned as the customer has no longer paid for it, quite a reasonable request considering it has been missing for over a month. Told that I had to accept ADDITIONAL charges to have the item returned to us! So not only has the delay lost us a sale, we now have to pay to get our own goods back! They should be offering us a refund of the postage paid and the goods returned to us at the very least, instead they are trying to charge us extra. Shocking service, we’ll be using other booking services for all our couriers now.
*Update* The parcel has of course been delivered to the recipient now, despite us asking for 10 days prior to delivery that it be returned to us instead. MailAmericas refuse to pay out any compensation for the parcel despite us requesting with ample time that it be returned rather than delivered, even though the whole situation was caused by the initial delay of over a month with no tracking updates. We are now over £100 out of pocket thanks to MailAmericas and will be switching to another courier booking service.
Worst delivery service. MailAmericas is asking customers to come to the office and collect items. Choose other courier service instead of this worst delivery service.
Not professional at all. Unfriendly MailAmericas staff. No one checked the checklist – when off loading our boxes, furniture etc. No one in charge – no supervision!!!
Some of the staff could not even read.
Furniture was damaged.
Fragile items broken.
These guys at MailAmericas are super reliable and professional! They came back and forth cuz we forgot stuff, they were honest and up front about installing a dishwasher – and their prices are very competitive! Everything was delivered perfectly! We moved an entire basement apartment – and a stove and dishwasher swap – they basically spent the entire day doing our deliveries and were so amazing.
